Snipeyes CTD: getting fake sites and leaked data taken down

A fake login page that copies your website can drain customer accounts for as long as it stays online. The same goes for counterfeit mobile apps, social media accounts that pretend to be you, and leaked data posted in public. Every day this material stays up adds to losses, complaints and damage to your name.

Snipeyes CTD (content takedown) gets it removed. We confirm the abuse, send legal notices to the companies hosting it, follow up until it comes down, and give you an evidence record your legal team can rely on.

What we can remove

Phishing and brand abuse make up most requests. This covers typosquat domains (web addresses a letter or two away from yours), fake login pages and social media accounts posing as your organization. We get them suspended at the registrar (the company that sold the domain) or the hosting provider. We also report them to the safe-browsing lists that browsers use to warn visitors.

Counterfeit apps in the App Store and Google Play are removed through each store’s own process, backed by trademark evidence. Afterwards we keep watching for copies.

Leaked data on paste sites, Telegram and code repositories is removed at the source, and the evidence is preserved in case a forensic investigation follows. Infringing or fraudulent use of your brand is handled under whichever law applies, whether that is the DMCA (the US copyright takedown law) or local law.

How a case moves from report to removal

  1. Intake: A case opens with one click from DBM or from a direct report, and is triaged promptly.
  2. Validate: We capture proof of the impersonation and a live copy of the content, and identify the registrar, host or store responsible.
  3. Notice: DMCA and local-law notices go to the registrar, host, store or platform, with an escalation path for each provider.
  4. Remove: The content is suspended, delisted or taken down. Each stage is tracked against agreed service levels.
  5. Verify: A fresh scan confirms removal and keeps watching for clones. The case closes with an evidence pack for your legal team, your security team and your insurer.

Why reporting abuse yourself often stalls

Most providers offer an abuse form, but reports sent through them are easy to ignore and hard to chase. A law firm is thorough, though it tends to be slow and limited to certain jurisdictions. CTD sits between the two. It combines legal notices with persistent follow-up and a chain-of-custody record (a log of who collected each piece of evidence and when, so it holds up if challenged).

Reach and pricing

We work with registrars, hosts and app stores worldwide, in English, with local counsel where needed. Pricing is a fixed fee per case, or a retainer for continuous brand protection. All work is covered by an NDA.

Banks, fintechs and consumer brands have the most at stake here. A single live phishing domain puts customer accounts at risk, as well as the brand’s reputation.

We walk you through recent cases: how long they took, which channel worked and the proof of removal. If you are dealing with active phishing now, tell us and we will prioritize it.
